Two gorgeous days in a row - are we really in Arkansas?? Mark and I just got back from a nice stroll around the apartment complex.

Mark was officially neutropenic yesterday. We had to wait four hours at the clinic for a growth factor shot - which would have been fine except AUBURN was playing Alabama and Mark was super anxious to get back to the apartment so he could scream and yell at the TV. He could have done that at the clinic but they would have probably moved him to another ward. He was of course devastated about the game, but thrilled that Auburn showed up to play. At least we didn’t have to see that Alabama guy at the clinic today!!

He is feeling a lot better having lost 10 lbs. in the last two days. Hopefully the swelling that is left in his legs and feet will be gone soon. Considering this was a higher chemo dose, we are thrilled that he has done so well.

Thank you for thinking of us. Please continue to remember us in your prayers.

Love, Karen
