What a weekend!

Mark always fusses when his APN goes out of town - especially when it is on the weekend! He says he always gets sick when she isn’t here. And so far he is batting 1000. He had an infection this weekend and was loaded up with antibiotics, so he is feeling much better now! No more fevers and his appetite is better. His APN, Deena, will be back tomorrow - I don’t envy her - I am sure she will get an ear full. Of course, they have lots of other APNs and nurses to take care of him.

All his blood counts are getting back to normal and his infection marker is going down, so we are thrilled.

Debbie was with Tom at the clinic today. She is amazing - working, being a Mama, and Tom’s right arm. I am doing good just tending to Mark and sometimes I’m not too good at that! Chemo brain is contagious…

The clinic is full of hopeful patients all wanting to go home for Christmas, we are still very optimistic that we will get released this week. Maybe we will find out tomorrow.
